Charli asked a million questions about Joislen. How do we know she's gunna get the stuff in her stocking. How old would she be. She wonders what she would look like. She asked if her and d3 were twins. Even though these questions break my heart---that a child has to know death so intimately. It's nothing compared to the pain of your baby being forgotten. And answering them makes me feel like I still call the shots maternally for my girl. That I can speak to what she's doing or would be doing. It's honoring, and strengthening to have to comfort my inquisitive niece. Thank u charmar for remembering ur baby cousin. I know she and your grandpa are having a blast up there and both miss u a lot 💛
