Expectant mother is like the most offensive term to me. Even if I didn't lose Joislen. What do u think I'm carrying a log? He's a baby boy. I make decisions based around what's best for him. I'm planning our lives with his future in mind. And preparing for him. It's happened 3x this week. Even A sign in the hospital in triage said these seats are for expectant moms. Expectation was fulfilled when the sperm met the egg and implantation occurred in my uterus. The signs for parking. Someone wished me a happy future Mother's Day this year. Again Joislen aside. I just don't like it. Call us pregnant women. But the mom thing is subjective cuz some think they become moms when they give birth. I'm just not one of them. I think the term expectant mom should be reserved for people who are trying to conceive. Rant done!
