Day 19: Music

Music hasn't been a huge part of my journey with my daughter so far. One thing in particular stands out to me though-- Joislen has a strong connection to wordless music; More specifically, songs with the violin. She enjoyed listening to the Pandora playlist "piano solo". When she heard a violin song or solo, she had a notable reaction to that instrument, on many occasions. She loved it. after making this seemingly random observation. I found out one day duringthe pregnancy while talking to our mom about it (on Dwayne's side) that she was a violinist as a young girl. I was shocked to learn of this. Joislen loves the violin. Just like her Grandma Sawyer. today's picture is of a hand sculpture of Joislen's arm in her fathers hands, since she got her love for music from daddy's side. On her arm and hand are gold flakes which glisten in the light.
